Sophie & Doug

What was your ring designing experience like?

Chelsea made something that I thought was going to be stressful and a lot of work into something that was exciting and that I looked forward to doing. It was unreal the detail Chelsea was able to show with her program and what she was able to help with. Ultimately it was a fun experience.

Why did you choose Honey Designs to design your ring?

I went to other jewelers around the area and didn't feel comfortable with purchasing from them. I contacted Chelsea and she was very knowledgeable and wanted to make the experience enjoyable instead of "getting through another sale".

What surprised you the most?

From someone who isn’t very knowledgeable about the jewelry and the amount of detail that goes into creating the custom ring is vast. Seeing that first hand and being able to participate in creating something uniquely ours was most surprising to me.

What do you love most about your ring?

That it’s ours. I was able to put in all my comments and what I wanted and Chelsea made it happen. I was able to put our small signatures and tweaks that made the ring special.

How did you & your significant other meet?

We actually met through our respective roommates. I went up to visit him and he invited me over to his girlfriend’s house to hang out. When I got there I met her roommate (Sophie) and we hit it off from there.

Where was your first date?

Our first official date was at the Cincinnati Zoo for the festival of lights.

Favorite Way to Spend a Date Day/Night:

Our ideal date is going downtown Cincy and either going around to the shops or the bars and eventually getting dinner. After that either a walk down on the riverfront or an early night in is perfect for us.
