Tia & Jake

What was your ring buying experience like?

J: Really easy - I had an idea of what my fiancee wanted and was happy to be able to work with an old friend to have this custom made for my future wife.

Why did you choose Honey Designs to design your ring?

J: Chelsea is an old friend of mine from college - once I saw her work I knew it was the perfect fit.

How was the process in terms of being an "out-of-town" client?

J: Seamless - Chelsea made everything really easy (through picture sharing and constant updates / questions). Her organization and attention to detail was really helpful!

What surprised you the most?

T: How beautiful and unique the ring was! Also the box we received after we got engaged with all of the cute little gifts and follow ups, really nice personal touch.

J: How beautiful the ring was - it was everything I imagined it would be and my fiancee loved it!!

What do you love most about your ring?

T: Since I had my heart set on an antique ring, I loved how much this one ended up having that look to it. I love that its original and unique to us and how sparkly it is! I have received endless comments on how beautiful it is, I love it.

J: How unique it is.

How did you & your significant other meet?

J: We have known each other since elementary school! Were friends all throughout middle school, high school and college and then started dating after we graduated. We were actually each others dates to the 5th grade dance and each other's elementary school crushes :)

Where was your first date?

Both: Jake's Old Shop, we took our two pitbulls to play in the park.

Whereโ€™s your favorite hidden gem in East Brunswick, NJ?

Both: Since we grew up in East Brunswick, our favorite place there is where we spend date nights at Gusto. As we live in Matawan now, we love Cuzin's in Marlboro - it's our other favorite date night spot and where we went the night we got engaged.

Favorite Way to Spend a Date Day/Night:

Both: Hanging home with the dogs, cuddling and watching TV.
