Honey's Favorite Boss Babes

Happy International Women's Day!

Small businesses are SO important to build into communities and know that when you support a small business not only are you supporting your community, you're directly supporting the families that own those businesses. You are helping them pay their bills, own a home, educate their children, have friends over for dinner, give to charities, and so much more!

Here's just a glimpse at some of my favorite WOMEN owned small businesses in the Cincinnati area and anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE sharing about experiences and businesses I enjoy.

Jeni's Ice Cream -while not home to Cincy, I'm originally from the Columbus area and love me some Jeni's. You can experience this amazingness if you refer any clients to Amy B Sells or buy a pint at a Cincy Wholefoods.

Handzy Shop + Studio -Brittney & Suzy have the best selection of cards around! Get cute gifts, cards, or take a work shop! They also make awesome custom wedding invites as well.

Happy Chicks -this is my fave vegan bakery. You won't even miss the butter and eggs here!

Katie's Blooms -nominated by Katie as her unofficial salesperson, Katie is my fave floral designer!

Amy B Sells -you need to sell your house in 4 hours? Amy's your girl! Her awesome team is awesome for all your home buying and selling needs.

44th & Luxe Events -Heidi is a great event planner! Your wedding can be Classy AF.

Okota Weddings -Abbie is a great event planner and photographer. Her event business can do it all from desserts, to floral, to photography.

The Turn -after hosting events here and being in events here, this is the perfect vintage event space for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, birthday parties, and so much more.

Photographs by Amy Oliver -Amy is my homegirl. She's usually capturing proposals of my clients hiding around in bushes and captures these amazing moments!

BeeMineSunshine -Marissa has the cutest shop of headbands and clothing for little ones. I'm frequently seen sporting a multiway headband and love everything she does!

Alba Beauty Studio -the place I call home for my hair & nails. Love all the ladies here and they do an awesome job making sure you look beautiful.

Hayes Financial Coaching -Del Shawn is a great woman that believes everyone can be debt free and will LOVE helping you budget!

Gadabout Doughnuts -Karina makes some of the best doughnuts in town and you'll be lucky to get some before they sell out! I love doughnuts and got 2 dozen for a birthday, which is why it's me holding a box of these beauties, lol.

Social Design & Events -3 great girls that can plan any of your social events and have been great to work with and very appreciative.

Blue Manatee Bookstore - Sarah Jones does an entertaining story time and is a talented illustrator. This is my fave children's business for sure and has a great vast selection of books.

Street Pops -it's gourmet Popsicles... is there any more information you need?

Style Appointment: How it works for an Engagement Ring Recipient

Are you or anyone you know in a serious relationship and not yet engaged? YOU should have a Style Appointment to be an integral part of the design process so that when the time comes for your significant other to pop the question, you are absolutely in LOVE with your ring.

Here's how it works up to the appointment:

1. Schedule your appointment here, where you can choose a 90 minute window that works for you and up to 2 of your friends.

2. You'll receive a text or email from Chelsea about your appointment details with the office address and confirmation.

3. Chelsea will ask for any images to be texted or emailed to her of any rings you have style preference toward, prior to your scheduled appointment.

4. Chelsea will also ask your preference for during the appointment of beer, mimosa, coffee, or tea, so you can enjoy a nice treat while designing with diamonds.
